Educational Credits

Veterinary and Technician Approved CE
Veterinarians and technicians may receive up to 18 CEUs out of 54 CEUs available during the main conference. Veterinarians and technicians may also receive up to five hours of CEUs out of five CEUs available during the pre-conference session. The CVMA is a Statuatorily approved CE Provider.

Humane Officers Training & Educational Hours
The sessions offer a total of 15.5 hours of education and training in state humane laws (which includes the Pre-Conference Workshop) and a total of 28 hours of education and training in animal care that are designed to meet the appointment and continuing education requirements for humane officers set forth in Corporations Code section 14502.

Please note that the final decision as to whether a course satisfies the training requirements for humane officer appointment or continuing education rests with the superior court charged with confirming the appointment.

Attorney MCLE Credit
California attorneys will receive 4.5 hours of Minimum Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) credit for attending the pre-conference workshop, From Crime Scene to Courtroom, which is a State Bar-approved MCLE activity.

Certificates of Attendance will be available at the registration desk.
