Veterinary Approved CE
Veterinarians may receive up to 18 CEUs out of 78 CEUs available. The CVMA is a Statuatory approved CE Provider.

Humane Officers Training Hours
The Field Services Track is intended to provide training in state humane laws relating to the powers and duties of a humane officer required for appointment/reappointment as specified in Corporations Code section 14502.

The Shelter Medicine Track is intended to provide training in animal care required for humane officer appointment as specified in Corporations Code section 14502.

Please note that the final decision as to whether a course satisfies the training requirements for humane officer appointment/reappointment rests with the superior court charged with confirming the appointment/reappointment.
